What is Page Insights?
Page Insights gathers everything Fyr knows about a specific web page into one report — how it ranks in search, where its traffic comes from, what the content looks like, and how to improve it.
To use Page Insights, you need both a Google Analytics 4 account and a Google Search Console account connected.
Finding a page
When you open Page Insights, you'll see a searchable list of all your tracked pages. Each page shows its title, URL, and an Importance score (0–10) based on traffic, search visibility, and ad performance. Click any page to dive into its details.
The six tabs
Acquisition
Shows where this page's visitors come from — which channels, sources, and campaigns are driving traffic to this specific page. Works the same as the Website Analytics acquisition view, but scoped to just this one page.
Content
The most detailed tab, split into two parts:
Search terms table — Lists every search term this page ranks for in Google, with impressions and other metrics. You can select up to 5 terms to highlight them in different colors throughout the page content below. Click "Keyword suggestions" for ideas on additional terms to target.
Page content preview — Shows the actual text content of your page as Fyr has scraped it, including the meta title and description. Selected search terms are highlighted so you can see where (and if) they appear in your content.
An AI button next to the meta description can generate alternative description suggestions based on your page content.
Metadata
Displays all the technical metadata from your page, organized into three sections:
- Website — Standard meta tags like title, description, keywords, and robots directives
- Open Graph — Tags that control how your page looks when shared on Facebook and LinkedIn
- Twitter — Tags that control your page's appearance on Twitter/X
Each field includes a brief explanation of what it does and why it matters.
History
A timeline of every change Fyr has detected on your page — including content changes, meta tag updates, and HTTP status changes (like redirects). Each entry shows a before-and-after comparison so you can see exactly what changed and when.
Recommendations
Lists SEO issues Fyr has found on this page, split into open (active) and closed (resolved) issues. Click any issue to see what it is and how to fix it.
Site Score
Shows this page's Lighthouse performance score across four categories: performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. A chart tracks the score over time, and you can click through to the full Lighthouse report for detailed audit results.
Note: Site Score is calculated for the top 10 pages of your site.
