Lars Rimstad - Try
1. Who are you, and what kind of marketing do you work with?
I’m Lars, Head of Performance Marketing in TRY, a full service marketing agency based in Oslo. I spend my days advising clients on performance marketing strategies, as well as optimizing campaigns across digital channels.
2. What’s your favorite way of using Fyr, and why?
My favourite way of using Fyr is through a combination of Goals, Spending report and Custom dashboards. This let’s our teams align on goals and results, as well as making reporting and communication with our clients more streamlined and efficient.
3. What’s one marketing challenge you’re focused on right now?
At the moment I’m deep into the tracking and measurement challenges within app marketing, where IOS and Android adopts different standards. Measuring the impact of marketing in the app space has never been more complex, and finding ways of attributing with accuracy is challenging.
4. What’s a tip, hack, or insight you’d share with other community members?
I’ve recently experimented with using competitor monitoring in Fyr as input into Claude (LLM) and getting a competitor analysis of the social media presence of our clients’ competitors. This works surprisingly well, both in terms of getting stats and a qualitative evaluation of how the competitors are communicating.
5. Outside of work, what’s something you’re passionate about?
I’m a big film nerd, so I can’t think of a better weekend than going to the cinema or watching a few movies at home. For me it’s the best way of logging off and getting some much needed rest after a busy week.

Maren Høydal-Sagedahl - Los & co
1. Who are you, and what kind of marketing do you work with?
Hi! My name is Maren, and I work as a media advisor at an advertising agency in Oslo. I work both strategically and operationally with organic and paid media, making sure our clients are as visible as possible to their target audiences. I really enjoy it!2. What’s your favorite way of using Fyr, and why?
Custom Dashboards! I’ve saved an incredible amount of time on reporting and client communication by setting up comprehensive yet clear dashboards. They provide user-friendly insights into what’s happening on both websites and campaigns. Having everything gathered in one place — instead of digging through all the different systems — is so much smoother for both me and our clients.3. What’s one marketing challenge you’re focused on right now?
The shift from SEO to LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) will require more advanced analysis tools for monitoring media and brand mentions. It also brings new technical and ethical challenges — but it’s an exciting development we’re following closely.4. What’s a tip, hack, or insight you’d share with other community members?
In GA4, I’ve started using Explore reports more often to track exactly which AI models generate the most traffic to websites. I set up a standard Free Form report for Session Source and filter it with this regex:(chatgpt|openai)\.com|gemini(bard)?\.google\.co|perplexity\.ai|claude\.ai|copilot\.microsoft|bing\.com/chat|grok\.com|huggingface\.co|replicate\.com|anthropic\.com|cohere\.ai.)That gives me a simple overview of which AI models are sending the most users to the site!
5. Outside of work, what’s something you’re passionate about?
I’ve always loved hiking in the forest and mountains — especially now that I work in an office. Getting out into fresh air and steep hills feels magical after a long work week. ☺️0 -

Monde Austin Mtolo - Stratitude
1. Who are you, and what kind of marketing do you work with?
I’m Monde Mtolo, a Digital Director and marketing leader focused on martech solutions, performance-driven strategies, and building partnerships that deliver real business impact. My work focuses on digital marketing, blending paid media, SEO, email, and website development with smarter tools and data-driven insights to push performance further and help clients see marketing as a growth driver, not just a cost.
2. What’s your favourite way of using Fyr, and why?
Right now, it’s definitely the custom metrics feature, it’s exceptional. I can introduce metrics that let me interpret data in the way I need to, something you don’t get from other platforms. Numbers reveal a lot, and this feature makes sure I can unlock those insights. The live dashboard is another game changer. It makes reporting effortless, and clients can access the data anytime without waiting for a deck or report from me. That transparency builds trust and saves so much time.
3. What’s one marketing challenge you’re focused on right now?
I’m focused on making marketing efforts fully measurable so that we can properly assess business impact. It’s about showing clients that marketing isn’t just an expense, but a driver of sales and growth. In fact, sales can’t outperform without marketing pulling its weight. By quantifying results across the funnel, we can show true value, not just numbers on a report.
4. What’s a tip, hack, or insight you’d share with other community members?
Measurement is everything. If you don’t have proper measurement in place across your marketing, then everything else is meaningless. You won’t know what’s working, what’s failing, or where to optimise. Once you measure correctly, the strategy writes itself.
5. Outside of work, what’s something you’re passionate about?
I’m passionate about my faith, my family, travelling, and developing new technologies. When I get home, I switch off completely, because as much as I love my work, my family is my life. At the same time, I enjoy building my own work tools and experimenting with DIY projects. I used to run a furniture shop, and I’m planning to get into making picture frames soon as a hobby, woodwork has always been a passion of mine.
