Calculate Cross-Area Metrics in Fyr! No More Spreadsheet Workarounds
If you've ever found yourself exporting ad spend data from Meta Ads or Google Ads into a spreadsheet just to combine it with conversion data from GA4, you're not alone. It's one of the most common workarounds marketers use, and it works, until it doesn't. Manual exports go stale, formulas break, and the margin for error grows with every update.
That's why we're excited to share that you can now create calculated metrics that pull from multiple data areas directly inside Fyr.
What this means in practice
Until now, building a metric that combined data from both Ad Performance and Website Analytics meant leaving the platform. Not anymore.
You can now create Calculated metrics that reference data across areas. Here is one example of what you can build:

How to get started
- Navigate to organization settings and go to Calculated metrics
- Create a new metric for Ad Performance + Ecommerce
- Save and add it to your Custom Dashboard like any other metric
Why it matters
Marketing performance doesn't exist in silos, and your reporting shouldn't either. Connecting ad spend to on-site outcomes gives you a cleaner, more honest view of what's actually driving results, and makes it far easier to present that story to clients or stakeholders.
