Fyr lets you split your Social Media results into Total, Organic, and Paid, so you can see how much of your visibility came from ads versus organic activity. You can do this in three places.
In the graph (hover)
Hover over any date on the graph. A box on the right shows the Organic and Paid totals for that date.
In the Account Summary (Data type selector)
Use the Data type selector in the action bar at the top of the Social Media page to switch the topline numbers and top posts between Total, Organic, and Paid.
- Metrics that have an organic/paid split (impressions, clicks, comments, reactions, shares, engagement) will show the selected portion.
- Metrics that cannot be split (for example followers, or rate metrics like engagement rate) keep showing the total. You'll see a small info icon explaining that the metric isn't split.
In a custom dashboard widget
When adding or editing a Social Media widget (Stat Card, Line, Bar, or Pie chart), open the widget options and set the Data type to Total, Organic, or Paid. Each widget can be set independently, so you can build a dashboard that shows organic and paid side by side.
Why does "Paid" appear in the Account Summary, but the "Paid" filter in Posts shows no posts?
This is expected, and it happens because the two views use different data sources:
- The Account Summary (graph, topline, widgets) gets its Paid figure from a page-level metric that Facebook reports for the whole Page. It measures views of your Page's content that were shown in an ad-driven context — and this can be greater than zero even if you have no boosted posts (for example, when you're running ads that surface your Page content).
- The Paid filter in the Posts view filters to individual posts that were boosted/promoted. If none of your individual posts were boosted, this filter correctly returns no posts — even though the Page as a whole still recorded paid visibility.
So seeing Paid in the Account Summary while the Posts "Paid" filter is empty simply means: your Page had ad-driven visibility, but it didn't come from boosting specific posts.
Important: Paid here is not the same as Ad Performance / Ads Manager
"Paid" on the Social Media page measures ad-driven views of your Page's content (a Facebook Page Insights metric). It is not the same as the impressions, reach, or spend you see in your ad platform (e.g. Meta Ads Manager), and the numbers will not match — they measure different things. To analyse your paid ad campaigns, use the Ad Performance page instead.
